Our roving photographer Carolyn Roden was fortunate to revisit Duncliffe Woods in the last throws of summer...
"On a late, hot, autumn day the woods at Duncliffe hadn't decided whether it was still summer or that autumn had truly arrived! The temperature was 21 degrees and the steep off-piste hills were challenging but so worth the climb. Ancient trees, ferns and joyful dogs were everywhere. We shall certainly be back there soon." - Carolyn Roden
