"I am often asked how and why I started making lampshades ........
It starts from my creative background and studying in visual studies, Decorative glass and floristry. These creative subjects allowed me to indulge in my love for colours, shape, texture and craftsmanship .
Lampshade making came along as I was fed up of only seeing the same run of the mill, poor quality, mass production on the High street.
I wanted to create something a little different with a high level of quality and finish.
I also enjoy fabric buying and always on the lookout for new, unusual, retro, funky and traditional designs, also looking to Scandinavia for that Scandi touch."
Lampshades can add colour, character, warmth, and atmosphere to a room as well as making a statement
All my lampshades are Handmade to order by myself, they therefore take time and are not mass produced.
