​Axe Powder coating & auto repairs was formed in 2018 initially to research existing methods for wheel refurbishment to see if improvements could be made in the process to provide improved quality and Eco-friendly methods for stripping off existing coating.

After a couple of months it was found that most companies were still using the stripping liquid methylene chloride, bad news for health & safety and the environment, that will shortly be banned in use.

After testing all the alternative chemicals available, we then designed our own tanks & cleaning process to provide the best solution. This coupled with Aqua Blasting and the latest cleanroom booth, oven and powder coating system, provides far better consistency in result
