Stalbridge Hall present "The Moscow Drug Club" on Sunday 8th December 2019 at 7.30pm for an eclectic 1930s Berlin cabaret experience with wine by the bottle, vodka and Moscow Mule cocktails! This 1930s Cabaret evening combines the original material of Moscow Drug Club Cabaret with songs by the likes of Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen and Bertolt Brecht, providing an intoxicating and intimate musical experience. Back on the Artsreach circuit by popular demand, The Moscow Drug Club perform with guitar, accordion, double bass, trumpet and vocals. Its not on Boxing Day but it is boxing! Join Shaun and Pete for the charity bout of the year at Sturminster Newton Boxing Club. This Charity event is being held on Thursday 19th December. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets on door (£5 adults and £2.50 child) with donations accepted on the night. All money raised will go children's Cancer charities based in Dorset. Shaun's chosen charity is Gully's Place
Across Dorset, there are around 400 infants, children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.
Gully’s Place Trust Fund supports these children and their families from diagnosis to death, including bereavement support. |
Pete's chosen charity is Youth Cancer Trust
Youth Cancer Trust, based in Bournemouth provides support and free activity holidays for young people (aged 14 to 30) diagnosed and living with cancer or any malignant disease, from anywhere in the UK and the Irish Republic, or who are patients of any hospital in the UK.

We are a self-funding organization run by dedicated volunteers with the aim of promoting fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect and confidence increasing the quality of life for local children and adults. We aim to make boxing and fitness activities affordable to all walks of life, including local schools and other local sports organizations.

Father Christmas will be visiting Stalbridge in his sleigh in the days before Christmas 2019. On Saturday 21st December from 5.30pm until 8.30pm he will be visiting The West Side of Stalbridge and on Monday 23rd December from 5.30pm until 8.30pm he will be visiting The East Side of Stalbridge.
