We have just a few places for our Christmas evening event on Saturday, 9th December left. Great food and the Ukulantes are joining us playing their ukuleles and Christmas songs. See the low down and delicious menu we have lined up below.
"Due to demand, this year we are planning to run our Christmas evening event for two nights on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December. (We only have 1 table left on the Friday) We have Jools and Paul (aka The Ukulantes) coming along to play the Ukuleles for us and serenade us with all those fun filled festive tunes we all love to sing along with. Along side of that there will be food- of course there's food its Thyme after time!! I have come up with a festive menu I hope you all love, we are asking you to pre-choose from the menu provided below as soon as you can so we can plan quantities." Usual routine in that you are welcome to bring your own alcohol, we will simply charge you £1 per person to cover glass washing and bottle disposal. Here is our menu for you to choose from- Thyme after time Café Christmas Menu 2017 Starter choices Creamy Dorset blue vinny mushrooms with crispy bacon with fried ‘sippets’ of bread or Scottish smoked salmon and king prawns with a dill and lime aioli with baby salad leaves or Our festive chunky Christmas minestrone and basil broth with a chunky cheese on toast crouton Main Course choices Roast breast of turkey with a pig in blanket, our homemade stuffing, bread sauce, cranberry sauce, gravy, roast potatoes and served with seasonal vegetables Or Griddled loin of smoked ham steak served with our homemade Cumberland sauce with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables Or Hearty fish stew with fresh fish, shellfish and prawns and served with saffron potatoes Or Vegetarian option of spinach and Rosary goats cheese roly poly with a rich tomato sauce Dessert choices Our Christmas pudding with Baileys infused whipped cream Or Hazelnut and chocolate vacherin layered up with Marshfield mint choc chip ice cream Or Clementine trifle with egg nog soaked vanilla sponge, custard, whipped cream, toasted almonds and crushed amaretti biscuits Coffee Fresh Americano coffee from our espresso machine using Reads coffee beans of Sherborne The price per head for this event is £29.50 and as demand is already very high by our regulars we will not be offering ticket sales via our web site, only over the phone or by simply calling in as we only have specific numbers of tables available remaining already. 01963 362202 Comments are closed.
