The Stalbridge Community Volunteer Car Scheme (SCVCS) is now desperate for drivers. We currently do not have enough volunteers to ensure that we can fulfil all the requests we get for journeys to local doctor and hospital appointments.
Since the surgery has now closed in Stalbridge, local people need to travel in order to see their doctor and not everyone has transport available to them. These folk rely on the drivers who volunteer their time to take others for medical appointments. Maybe you have a relative or friend in another part of the country who is helped in this way.
