The Swan pub in Stalbridge are gearing up for their Summer Festival, which takes place on Saturday 31st July from 12 noon till late. Entertainment comes from some top local talent including Nick Coleman, Spiral 2, Furious Pussies, Last Orders, 2 Foot Moose and Microlight. The Market Place Marquee (running from 12 noon till 6pm) will contain a vast array of independent stalls displaying a collection of local craft and design and some great homemade goods and gifts. The Gin Bar will have 25 varieties of flavoured gin to try. There will be a BBQ from 12.30pm, a bouncy castle from 12 noon till 6pm, face painting, Tug-o-war (pull your teams together), Purbeck Ice creams, Real Ale on tap, straight from the barrel, and a £1 to enter Festival Bar Raffle, to be drawn at about 5.45pm on the day with prizes of vouchers to the value of: two x £50, two x £40, four x £25 five x £10 and 10 x mistery prizes. Raffle vouchers may be used on the festival day and are valid until 7th August 2021.
