'Thyme after time Cafe' are on the look out for a special friendly but 'calm under pressure' Chef for our growing Cafe. It's a part time position, regular day time Monday's (excluding bank holidays), from 8am- 4.30/5pm and two Saturday's a month approx from 8am- 2.30/3pm, sometimes more hours/ days though at busy times. There's a possibility of more hours as we continue to grow.
Experience in a busy kitchen essential as the job will involve cooking breakfasts, lunches, cream teas, making cakes/ dishes, preparing for events. At times it can be pressured as we do get very busy but we are a friendly bunch and enjoy a laugh along the way!
There is potential for more hours as well for events and food orders we prepare so flexibility and willingness to take on extra hours would be a bonus!
As we are a small team and generally it's all hands to the deck, we would require you also to serve the food, take orders and make drinks (training provided). We do provide lunch and drinks for our staff.
