With Easter falling upon us (it feels unexpectedly this year, how did we get here so quick?). We have now set our next evening event for April, 27th at 7pm.
The theme as you probably clocked is 'Sapori D'Italia' / 'Tastes of Italy'.
I have been busy writing what I hope you will find to be a delicicious menu to appeal to all. (See below). Our Italian evening is always one of our most popular by far and books up very quickly.
So dust off those Chianti bottles and enjoy a lovely foodie evening!
Fresh Meals- If for any reason you are not able to attend that evening or indeed you would like to do a meal/ freezer stock up we can offer you the opportunity to order either the Pork Osso Bucco or the Chicken Cacciatore for just £3.00 per portion. Simply either order via email, phone or order on here for collection from our Cafe on either Friday, 27th or Saturday, 28th April. Your order will come in a one portion freezer/microwave safe container. It will be made fresh by us in our kitchen so you could freeze it if you wanted to or enjoy it fresh and have a night off from cooking, could not be simpler! Please note that these two dishes can only be collected on the above dates to qualify for no minimum order and this special price.
Returning back round to our evening event here is the menu for the evening below-
Sharing platters of-
Eve’s calzones filled with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, olives, cured meats, focaccia, crostini with wild garlic and basil pesto dip, chargrilled courgettes.
Main Course Buffet, choose some or all of the following-
Pork Osso Bucco
Spinach, mushroom, leek and walnut lasagne (V)
Arancini- risotto balls with prawns, tuna, lemon, parmesan and peas
Caesar salad with crispy lettuce, parmesan, croutons and classic Caesar dressing
Tomato and rocket salad with basil and garlic dressing and oregano crispy crumbs
Dessert Buffet, choose one or some of all of the following-
Margot’s meringue mess with lemon curd and fresh cream
Profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce
Lemon, ricotta and almond cake served with mascarpone
Americano coffee served at your table
Price per head £29.50 payable upon booking, you can either book your tickets right here via our web site or over the phone by card or simply call in. We are very happy to take a provisional 24 hour booking whilst you contact your friends to see if they are able to join you.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, we simply charge you £1 per person to cover glass washing and bottle disposal. We politely ask that soft drinks are please purchased via our cafe.
