The Stalbridge Goes Wild Project aims to support the natural environment of Stalbridge by planting wildflower beds in public spaces. This will help the town do our bit towards climate change by bringing in more bees and pollinators and it will also look great!
"We hope to make Stalbridge an even more beautiful place to live by planting wildflowers on some of the public spaces. This will also help ease our carbon footprint and bring in insects to help with pollination of crops.
We formed as a small group in the summer of 2019 and now have the backing of the Town Council and are working alongside the Dorset Rangers.
We will need volunteers in the spring to help prepare ground, plant and maintain a few chosen areas. Are you one of those people? If so, let us know. We aim to make this a true community project!"
