Stalbridge Town Council are asking Stalbridge Residents to help them choose the new play equipment for Jarvis Field Play Area. It's your chance to vote for your new playground. Visit the council website playground page where you will see three schemes on offer, then vote for your choice and give them some feedback or suggestions. The consultation runs until Christmas.

The Rector usually says prayers in the Chapel of St Joseph (diagonally opposite the main door) from Tuesday to Thursday at 9am and 5pm and Friday at 5.00pm. There is collective Worship in Stalbridge C of E Primary School on Fridays at 8.50am. BAND CONCERT The HMS Heron Volunteer Band and the Stalbridge Singers are giving their annual concert in the church on 15 December at 7.30pm. They will be playing seasonal music and music from the shows and popular classics. Tickets cost £7.50 (children free), which include mulled wine and a mince pie, will be available from Williams Florist and the Post Office. WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY Bible studies continue on Tuesdays in The Rectory at 6.45pm for 7.00 - 8.30pm. Please ring Simon Witcomb (07 989 855 582) to check the arrangements. BELL RINGING Bell ringing practice is normally held at 7.00 – 8.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays in St Mary’s. We are looking for new recruits to “Ring for the King”, so that we have enough ringers in our churches to celebrate the Coronation next year. FOOD BANK There is a box in the church for donations to the food bank. CLEANER APPEAL Our beautiful church is large but prone to dustiness. We need help to keep it clean. The menu changes to reflect seasonal produce but there is always something to surprise and like from his innovative pizza menus. Like Bianca sliced garlic with olive oil, oregano, mozzarella and parmesan white pizza, or the Chevrette, with artichoke and goats cheese, or the florentine with spinach, and mushroom....the list is endless and all freshly cooked.
