A handy guide to when your Stalbridge recycling and rubbish bins will be collected over the Christmas Period running from 24th December to 13th January. Did you know? Dorset Council will collect up to two extra sacks of rubbish placed beside your bin on your first rubbish collection after Boxing Day. They will also collect extra recycling that doesn't fit in your recycling bin if it is placed in your own boxes. Please keep glass in a seperate box. Please note that the council do not collect Christmas trees anymore, either as rubbish or recycling, but Sherborne recycling centre is open from 10am to 4pm every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
