Christmas Celebrations in Stalbridge traditionally start at the Ring, and this year is no exception.
On Friday 1st December at 5.30pm there will be a Barbecue, with Mulled Wine served while we wait for the Stalbridge Lantern Parade to arrive. They will be setting off from Stalbridge Close at 5.45pm. At 6pm There will be an 'Interactive Christmas Story', together with traditional Christmas Carols, all led by Canon William Ridding. This popular Christmas celebration ends as always with the lighting of the Lime Tree on The Ring . So come along to join in and enjoy the traditional start to your Stalbridge Christmas at this special community event on Friday 1st December. This is a nice out and back route on the trailway. You can run or walk and do whatever distance you want (2 miles up to 7 miles). This is now a firm fixture in the local community and raises much needed funds for our local Air Ambulance.
