Yeovil Walk-in doctors surgery used to be open 8am to 8pm 7 days a week all year round, including bank holidays and Christmas, so if you or your child were unwell, even at the weekend, you could go down there to get sorted without an appointment....but not any more!
Here is the latest from the Yeovil Health Centre website:
Walk-in service changes:
Please note that from 1st September 2017, the walk-in service at Yeovil Health Centre will no longer be running.
Need urgent care this weekend?
A new Urgent Care Service will be running at weekends only from Yeovil Hospital. Urgent medical appointments will be available on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 6pm. To access appointments you must call NHS 111 who will advise you on the recommended action to take and an appointment will be made available if required.

At Stalbridge Info Community Website we've taken the decision to only list taxi and cab companies who have a website and are in Stalbridge or near enough to be worth giving a call. This is because many taxi drivers and cabbies who put cards in shop windows don't remove them when they stop trading or retire and both they, and potential customers from ths site get understandably frustrated. So we have done some surfing on your behalf and found 9 taxi or cab companies with websites serving the local area. Just click on the button below to visit our taxi/cab page for more info
Needle felting cute santa gnomes with Mary Jane
Tuesday 10th October from 19:00–21:30 at Gray's of Stalbridge
"In this workshop you will learn how to make a cute Santa gnome to hang on your Christmas tree or display on a shelf"
The needle felting process is very simple and it doesn’t take long to grow in confidence and really begin to appreciate what a versatile and rewarding pastime it is. Don’t worry if you are not particularly creative as I will bring a few examples of finished articles for you to get ideas from. As the felting needles can be sharp you may find it useful to bring a pair of tweezers with you to protect your fingers when holding smaller pieces of wool on your felting pad.
The cost of the workshop is £20 and includes step by step tuition, all the materials to make your creation plus light refreshments.
Recommended for ages 10 and above as sharp needles are involved.
No previous needle felting experience necessary.
