So what happened to The Stalbridge Arms? Well, since we last spoke to you the process of planning, architects, arranging trades etc has taken some time, as it normally does with listed buildings and conservation areas. But we haven't been sitting around with our Arms folded (so to speak)....we've purchased, renovated and opened another one of our pubs....The Star at Star, which opened on 11th May near the Mendip Hills in Somerset. And the good news is... You're next, Stalbridge! The full renovation of The Star at Star took less than two months so as soon as the starting pistol fires for The Stalbridge Arms we will be 'Bolting' to the finish line in record time!
In the meantime why not have a look at our new pub, The Star at Star and perhaps even pay us a visit while you wait for your new Stalbridge pub to be finished? And hopefully soon we will be able to welcome you with Open Arms! There are some seats still available on The Stalbridge W.I. summer day trip to Seaton in Devon on Monday 16th July, leaving the Hub car park at 9.15am and costing £10 per person. This will be a Free day to do as you like! The Weather is Booked!! We will be returning from Seaton at 4.15pm approx. Details from June Harman 01963 362696. And to entice you to join the trip just click on the button below for more information on Seaton.

Fitting words from the 2017 Blackmore Vale Revival
"A truly memorable year, in every respect . We had excellent weather and the organisation was very good, I could go all day, but it is easier to say we all had a superb day at the Blackmore Vale Revival and we are looking forward to next year. Ladies & Gentlemen may we introduce the Decadettes on stage at the 2018 Blackmore Vale Revival. The Group sing a variety of music from 1920s through to 1960s, nostalgic harmonies creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era which is perfect for the Revival Event.
Below you can see from last year's programme that there is so much to do and see at The Blackmore Vale Revival.
