The Gartell Light Railway is open to the public on
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 29th MAY
We open at 10:00 and operate our frequent train service between 10:30 and 16:30
The Gartell Light Railway is a delightful narrow gauge railway in South Somerset.
The railway is privately operated by the Gartell family and their friends and is specially opened to the public only on selected dates through the year.

SCARS MONTHLY MEETING
SCARS Monthly Meeting will be held on Friday 30th June from 2-4pm at The Hub, Station Road, Stalbridge. New members always welcome. SCARS is a self funding support group offering companionship and friendship to anyone diagnosed with cancer, a survivor of cancer, friends or family who feel they could benefit from the support of others who have been touched by a cancer diagnosis. Come and join us at Gray's of Stalbridge for tea, coffee and cakes on the 13th July from 9:00–14:00. There will also be a raffle with some lovely prizes.

Stalbridge Community Library
There will be a public meeting of Stalbridge Community Library Management Group at 7.00pm on Tuesday 30 May in The Hub, Stalbridge.
This meeting will follow The Friends of Stalbridge Library AGM, which starts at 6.30pm.
All are invited to attend both of these meetings to comment on the operation of both groups, make suggestions for improvement and to ask any questions.
It is only by receiving feedback from our customers that we can improve on the service we offer.
