BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 29th MAY We open at 10:00 and operate our frequent train service between 10:30 and 16:30 The Gartell Light Railway is a delightful narrow gauge railway in South Somerset. The railway is privately operated by the Gartell family and their friends and is specially opened to the public only on selected dates through the year. SCARS Monthly Meeting will be held on Friday 30th June from 2-4pm at The Hub, Station Road, Stalbridge. New members always welcome. SCARS is a self funding support group offering companionship and friendship to anyone diagnosed with cancer, a survivor of cancer, friends or family who feel they could benefit from the support of others who have been touched by a cancer diagnosis. The airfield cafe will also be open, serving a selection of food and drinks, including cooked breakfasts and lunches. This morning will be raising funds for further research into Retinitis Pigmentosa. This money will be added to the stamp collecting funds and the grand total raised will be announced in November. This meeting will follow The Friends of Stalbridge Library AGM, which starts at 6.30pm. Suzanne will show you how to design and cut out your stencils or choose from a selection of previous cut stencils. She will show you layering, lettering and painting techniques.
