Stalbridge Hall Presents the Sunset Cafe Stompers Vintage Jazz Group on Saturday 19th February 2022 at 7.30pm. Seating will be 'Cabaret style'. The bar will be open. The Sunset Café Stompers music is rooted in the bars and bordellos, the dance halls and the street parades of New Orleans in the 1910s and 20s, and later in the clubs and speakeasies of Chicago and New York, as musicians migrated to the big cities to find work ... maintaining this element of jazz history. They will be playing some great tunes from the likes of Scott Joplin, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and Fats Waller. Decoupage is such a fun craft! The finished effect looks like your image has been professionally hand painted. You can use it to spruce up tired looking furniture, glass bottles or jars; the list is endless once you’ve learnt the basics, which will be taught during the workshop. The classes are very light hearted, relaxed and in small groups so that everyone can receive the attention they need".
