A message from Dorset councillor Graham Carr-Jones: "As we observe the State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen, there will be no kerbside bin collections of any kind on Monday 19 September. If your bins are usually emptied on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, please put your waste out as normal. If your bins are usually collected on a Monday, please note the following: -
Rubbish and recycling bins/boxes/bags: We will endeavour to empty these on Saturday 24 September, so please do not put your rubbish or recycling bin out until Friday night (23 September).
Food waste bins: These will be emptied on your next collection day (Monday 26 September). If you need to dispose of your food waste before this time, please take it to a household recycling centre from Tuesday 20 September.
Garden waste: We hope to catch-up with these collections from Tuesday 20 September, so please leave your bin out until it is emptied."
