The Stalbridge Players respectfully ask you to assemble at Gray's of Stalbridge to acquire your ration ticket to view the stage production of "Dad's Army"
Rationed tickets are available from Gray's Emporium of Fine Gifts and Homewares,
situated not far from the Market Cross and the Old Folks Home in Stalbridge. The renowned Stalbridge Players are taking on "Dad's Army". Not sure if they are doing the 70's play or later "Musical" version, but which ever one they have chosen it will surely be a hilarious and entertaining evening's theatre. Performance dates are as follows:- Friday 31st March, Saturday 1st April, Friday 7th April and Saturday 8th April. Curtain up 7.30pm.
( which means turn up for a lovely drinky half an hour before the curtain rises...) Tickets available from Wednesday 1st March.
Adults - £8, Under 14's - £5. Tickets available from Gray's of Stalbridge (opposite The Market Cross) Audience feel free to come in 1940's dress (or trousers, if you're a man) Stalbridge Players are asking the residents of Stalbridge to Dress Up their homes in honour of the Homeguard war effort that happened in Stalbridge and many other villages and towns throughout Dorset during the second world war. Blackout your windows, display the Union Jack flags we are putting out around the town and turn up to the performances dressed in 1940's dress, (or trousers if you are a man). Let's take Stalbridge "Back in Time" for the next month for the Stalbridge Players production of Dad's Army !!! Comments are closed.
