Maintenance and updating has continued through the year. The kitchen has been redecorated and we have purchased 10 new folding tables to replace ones damaged, we have also purchased a freezer and up to date computer. The final part of the electrical upgrade work to comply with regulations has now been completed with other minor repairs. The marking out of the car park has now organized parking spaces to its maximum. We have now paid off most of the water bill occurred with an undiagnosed leak.
The Hall now provides free broadband for all its users.
Future improvements for the next year are revamping the toilets, providing a baby changing area, replacing some of the stage curtains and building more storage areas. The main hall, lounge area and passage way will soon be redecorated and some of the internal doors replaced.
Fund raising to help with these projects has continued this with a healthy return of over £10,000. The Trustees have had tremendous help from members and friends, Thanks to everyone
On the financial front the trustees have decided to keep a reserve amount of £4,000 on deposit to cover unexpected expences, this year general income over general expenditure has risen £1,000 due mainly to our increase of letting charges, although there has been a reasonable increase in total lettings.
