Yeovil Walk-in doctors surgery used to be open 8am to 8pm 7 days a week all year round, including bank holidays and Christmas, so if you or your child were unwell, even at the weekend, you could go down there to get sorted without an appointment....but not any more! Here is the latest from the Yeovil Health Centre website: Walk-in service changes: Please note that from 1st September 2017, the walk-in service at Yeovil Health Centre will no longer be running. Need urgent care this weekend? A new Urgent Care Service will be running at weekends only from Yeovil Hospital. Urgent medical appointments will be available on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 6pm. To access appointments you must call NHS 111 who will advise you on the recommended action to take and an appointment will be made available if required. The Season for dining alfresco may be drawing to a close, so where can you go for some 'in casa' posh nosh this autumn? Stalbridge Info presents our guide to restaurants.
We have only featured restaurants with their own websites and those with nice enough looking websites to look like they might be a good place to go and have a decent meal in pleasant surroundings. So why not take a look? Just click on the button below. Do you have three hours to spare every two weeks? Do you enjoy reading and books? Then we have a space for you as a volunteer at Stalbridge Community Library. We are a happy group who work hard to keep the Library open for Stalbridge and the surrounding villages. Please contact Christine Peters for further details: christineannpeters7@icloud.com At Stalbridge Info Community Website we've taken the decision to only list taxi and cab companies who have a website and are in Stalbridge or near enough to be worth giving a call. This is because many taxi drivers and cabbies who put cards in shop windows don't remove them when they stop trading or retire and both they, and potential customers from ths site get understandably frustrated. So we have done some surfing on your behalf and found 9 taxi or cab companies with websites serving the local area. Just click on the button below to visit our taxi/cab page for more info
