Potatoes are cheap as chips to buy, but only a few can turn them into magical sticks of delight...
In our humble opinion there are only two purveyors of fine chips within a short distance from the centre of Stalbridge. The first is Stalbridge Fish and Chip Shop. Click on the button below for more info.
The second centre of excellence for chips is Something Else Fishy in Milborne Port. Well worth a short drive for your chip fix. They also have a wonderful seafood restaurant above the shop. Click on the button below for more info.
After a day out at one of Dorset's beautiful beaches you might want something more than the lovely Fish n Chip suppers available, before you head back home. Here are some links to Seaside Restaurants and Cafes at Dorset Beaches which are either at the beach side or a short walk from the beach. Some of them you might not even know exist, and we've done the "surfing" (so you don't have to!) to find out where they are and what they offer. So say goodbye to Thai Tanic, Pitta Pan, Tequila Mockingbird, Wok this way, Lord of the Fries, The Codfather, Lord of the Wings and Lox, Stock and Bagel, and welcome to Dorset's Boringly Named Restaurants and Gastro Pubs!
